The animal control officer is responsible for handling Domestic animal complaints and issues. They enforce the Animal Control Laws of the State of Maine and the Town of Sorrento Animal Control Ordinance. They will respond to complaints about loose or stray domestic animals, and will deliver captured animals to the animal shelter (Small Animal Clinic, 9 Toothaker Lane, Ellsworth 207-667-2341).
